i think it's worse when it's not a breakup, just watching someone you love from outside her house, using your heart that you so carefully slipped inside as a coaster, and when you finally ask back for it, she doesn't even realize she's been using your tattered and stained heart.
when ur heart is returned to u its already broken. :(
