i go to the mall and i see beautiful women in the arms of either a much older man or an ugly guy.

it could be a myriad of other things! how about concern or genuine affection? sometimes an ugly person who listens and actually shows a bit of attention that is unbaised and that isnt motivated by ulterior aims is very persuasive and reassuring thing. at least thats my opinion.
